Zero Liquid Discharge – maximum concentration of industrial wastewater streams

The ET MaXx ZLD expands the proven MKR evaporator technology with an additional stage for further concentration of concentrates.

Industrial process wastewater is first treated in the ET evaporator. The resulting concentrate can then be further evaporated in the ET MaXx ZLD system. This significantly reduces the remaining water content and highly concentrates the valuable components.

The distillate can be returned to the production process, while the residual concentrate is available for recycling or disposal in a greatly reduced volume.

The result is a virtually closed-loop recycling of the process water used – zero liquid discharge (ZLD).

With the ET MaXx ZLD system, companies benefit from:

  • significantly reduced disposal costs
  • low fresh water consumption
  • higher resource efficiency
  • sustainable production methods
