Progress Report No. 1 – Our Path to the New Production Area
At MKR, the expansion of our production facilities is visibly taking shape. The construction work is progressing according to plan, and the first structural steps for the new hall section are already clearly recognizable. With this new article series, we aim to regularly showcase how our new building is growing – and how it contributes to innovation, sustainability, and regional value creation.
The foundation for the future has been laid: in recent days, significant progress has been made on the construction site next to our existing production hall. The preliminary earthworks have been completed, and the foundations for the new hall section have been excavated. The first foundation points are already visible in precisely arranged grid fields – a clear sign that the next construction phase is imminent.
With this expansion, we are responding to the steadily rising demand for energy-efficient evaporators and modern solutions for industrial wastewater treatment. Our systems are used worldwide to recycle water, conserve resources, and make production processes more sustainable. The new construction not only provides additional capacity, but also enables us to further strengthen our innovative capabilities and bring new technologies into series production more quickly.
A key aspect of the project is sustainability: the new hall is being built with a strong focus on energy efficiency, using modern materials and optimized production workflows. Shorter distances, lower energy consumption and improved process integration all support our mission to further strengthen sustainable environmental technology “Made in Germany.”
We will continue to provide regular insights into the various development phases. From the foundations to the structural framework and the final interior construction, we will accompany the entire process and keep you updated.
We look forward to taking the next steps toward the completed building together – further updates will follow soon.
