The old centrifuge was too weak and required too much support. The active baths in the 5-zone iron-phosphating plant had to be changed after only 8 weeks. And an enormous amount of cleaning work was required to remove the sediments, which is why it was always done at the weekend. With the new MKR centrifuge 8000T, this is now all done fully automatically, the baths now last 13 weeks before they need changing and the surfaces are perfect.
